WVU Sports with Tom Bragg

New WVU football coach Neal Brown spent a few minutes Monday morning introducing the members of his first Mountaineer coaching staff to the media. We got some time to hang out and interview members of the new staff after, so look for more from that session in the coming days.

VIDEO: Bob Huggins on WVU’s loss at No. 14 Kansas

Baseball! Soon!

WVU kicks off the 2019 season next week with a trip south, opening on Friday at Kennesaw State. Hear what coach Randy Mazey and star pitcher Alek Manoah had to say during Saturday afternoon’s session with the media.

Get comfy. West Virginia’s new football coach Neal Brown spoke to the media for not quite half an hour on Wednesday in Morgantown. He said at the outset this was going to just be about recruiting, and it mostly was but a few non-recruiting questions and answers slipped in there.

I still don’t have an external microphone to use with my phone for these videos, and Bob Huggins still mumbles through his press conferences — so apologies in advance if this is tough to hear clearly.

West Virginia University men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins was out for a dental procedure this morning, so assistant coach Larry Harrison stepped up on the weekly call in his place.

Quick update before we get to the postgame video:

  • I’ve received several complaints about the volume on these videos – that’s not fixed yet. Don’t expect that any sooner than Saturday’s game at No. 1 Tennessee. It was hidden a little bit by better acoustics in the football meeting room, but Bob Huggins can be a mumbler and my phone’s internal mic can only do so well.
