A drop in the Associated Press Top 25 was expected for West Virginia after the Mountaineers got blasted over the weekend at Kansas State, but the fall was not too far.
WVU checked in at No. 14 in this week’s AP Top 25, down two spots from No. 12 last week. Big 12 rival Baylor is the new No. 1 this week, with Kansas at No. 3. The full poll is included below.
The Mountaineers are still well thought of in the NCAA’s NET rankings, despite the lopsided loss at K-State. WVU sits at No. 9 in the latest batch of NET rankings.
