WVU has been teasing a new floor design at the Coliseum for a few days on social media, and on Thursday morning the school shared a rendering of their plans for the home of Mountaineer basketball.

The school announced the arena’s basketball floor design would get a makeover last April. With the recent efforts to rebrand the look of the athletic department, the new font on the wordmarks was pretty much guaranteed. I’m not crazy about the mountains along the bottom (kinda looks like the Mountain East Conference logo, no?), but I think all the blue will be an improvement. Between the lighting and old color scheme for the floor, the Coliseum looked awfully yellow on TV and in photos.
