It’s that time of the week, and what a week this is for West Virginia. The Mountaineers travel to Baltimore to take on unbeaten Maryland at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at M&T Bank Stadium. By now you know 3-0 is a big deal for the Terrapins. Did you know the three straight games with 500 yards of offense is something the team hasn’t done in 30 years?

Maryland has a credible offense, engineered by one-time WVU head coaching candidate Mike Locksley and one-time Mountaineers receiver Deon Long, that will test WVU’s defense like it hasn’t been tested this season.

Do not think the Mountaineers are unfamiliar with the challenge, though. Not only did they, you know, play Oklahoma, but they’re familiar with some of Maryland’s parts.
