The big news, I suppose, is that Charles Sims is enrolled at WVU today and is able to participate with the football program. The Mountaineers have been working out for an hour or so every Tuesday and Thursday for the past several weeks. Tomorrow would figure to be the first chance for Sims to get to know his new teammates, but a few we talked to today were well aware of him and what his arrival may mean.

Freshmen Al-Rasheed Benton, Marvin Gross and Marcell Lazard are also enrolled an in class at WVU today, the first day of the final summer session. d’Vante Henry is also enrolled, but that happened between the start of the previous summer session and today. We haven’t included him in the “enrolled” conversation until today, though.

Mario Alford is in WVU’s directory, but it looks like the Mountaineers are still waiting on him, as well as Brandon Golson, Darrien Howard, Dontrill Hyman and Isaac McDonald. I know there are questions about Golson, but he’s been tracking toward enrolling for a while now.
