WVU football early enrollees

Here are the first-year players who arrived over the weekend and went to class today …

On scholarship: running back Torry Clayton, long snapper John DePalma, safety K.J. Dillon, safety Jarrod Harper, defensive end Korey Harris, linebacker Garrett Hope, inside receiver Will Johnson, kicker Josh Lambert, offensive lineman Tony Matteo, cornerback Brandon Napoleon, defensive end/linebacker Noble Nwachukwu, offensive lineman Tyler Orlosky, offensive lineman Adam Pankey, receiver Devonte Robinson, defensive end/linebacker Eric Kinsey and receiver Travares Copeland.

Walk-ons:  Martinsburgh’s Justin Arndt and Sam Eggleston, a running back/slot receiver who played with freshman quarterback Ford Childress in high school.

Also of note, junior college offensive lineman Mark Glowinski has been on campus and in class for a while now.

The remaining incoming players are all expected to enroll later this summer — italics because academics are always a thorny issue. That said, I’ve been told and I’ve heard WVU doesn’t expect to lose anyone.
