Apparently sophomore forward Dan Jennings got up and left the Coliseum, as well as the team, Sunday afternoon.

WVU Coach Bob Huggins said Jennings’ absence was “unexcused. Inexcusable. Never to be seen again, I guess.”

And then it got interesting. Huggins was asked if this was surprising and he replied thusly:

“I understand you have to report it, and that’s fine, but can we talk about the guys that play? Because he didn’t play anyways, and hasn’t played. The truth of the matter is he’s been a non-entity. We started him to try to get some other guys motivated and things and he did work hard in practice for a while. But look at his career stats. We just didn’t lose Kevin Jones, you know what I’m saying? It’s a sidebar. I believe that’s what you call it.”
