Just a note that WVU’s walk-through Monday was cancelled. Or prevented. Apparently the field wasn’t prepared, though North Carolina State fit one in without incident. WVU did its thing at its hotel in an ample ballroom.

We’ll see if it matters, but the Mountaineers haven’t been on the new surface at the Florida Citrus Bowl, don’t know little things about the venue like where the game clocks are and are generally unaware of wind factors and other inner-stadium elements that can be learned from being inside and on the field.
