Surely you’ve been somewhere and had to ask “Hey, what number did So-and-So wear?” Then comes the reply and then you remember that Another-So-and-So also wore that number. The talk then usually goes into which So-and-So was better … and you wonder if you’re omitting a Superior-So-and-So.

Just the other day I was in a conversation that included the evolution of the WVU men’s basketball No. 3: Jon Hargett, Pat Beilein, Joe Mazzulla, Devin Ebanks. That’s pretty good growth.

Well, prepare yourself for the next round of similar discourse … and maybe prepare your kid to wear No. 80 so that he may be included.
