So the Big East didn’t do anything to soothe your nerves — and wasn’t that great timing for today’s story?

I wouldn’t necessarily attach today’s game to yesterday’s games. Notre Dame’s style is susceptible to what happened. Marquette plays close games. Georgetown just ran into the wrong team. Villanova? Well, Villanova wasn’t very good and hasn’t been right for a while. Safe to say it has WVU’s attention.

Let’s be honest. You know how today goes. There’s no reason to think the the game will deviate dramatically from the established pattern.
