I was at a function last night and I heard someone say the team Marshall brings to town this weekend is the worst one yet and WVU has no business not beating the  Thundering Herd by three touchdowns. “At least,” the person said.

I was eating a soft pretzel, so an ugly scene was perhaps avoided, but I remain stunned.

OK, Vegas has established the Mountaineers as a 20.5-point favorite … and that was after the line opened at 17 points. Maybe I don’t get it, but Marshall seems pretty well organized and at least threatening. I don’t think an upset is afoot and I’m not even sure it’ll be close, as William Stewart seems to be saying, but this isn’t a terrible team and clearly isn’t the worst Marshall team since the series resumed.
