The one I thought would enroll this week has indeed enrolled and WVU now has a real player in the receiving corps: Meet Logan Heastie.

West Virginia Football Coach Bill Stewart has announced, today, that Logan Heastie, a 6-3, 192-pound wide receiver from Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, Va., has enrolled in school and will join the team for the spring semester.

Coached by Pete Gale; rated as one of the top wide receiver prospects in the nation by various publications and recruiting services; played in the ESPN Under Armour All-American Game in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 4, 2009; second team All-American by USA Today, the only player from Virginia on the squad; finished with 58 receptions for 886 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior; second team Group AAA All-State by the Richmond Times Dispatch; No. 10 top player in the state on the Roanoke Times (Va.) Top 25 list; first team All-Southeastern District, First team All-Tidewater by the Newport News Daily Press and first team all-Gridiron; helped team to a 6-4 mark as a senior; caught 58 passes for 1,068 yards, an average of 21.4 yards per catch and 17 touchdowns as a junior; second team All-Tidewater as a junior; helped team to an 8-3 record and the first round of the state playoffs as a junior; runs a 4.3 40-yard dash; Has a 34-inch vertical jump; also recruited by Virginia Tech, Penn State, Florida, Alabama, Oregon, Boston College, Tennessee, North Carolina and NC State
