It’s worth repeating. Bob Huggins has an impeccable sense of timing. He questions his student fans Monday, whips an SEC team by 29-points Wednesday and then Thursday is discovered to be the driving force behind a new practice facility.

This isn’t huge news. It’s been rumored ever since the coaching change and was probably a factor in hiring process — either it was a condition for Huggins or a promise by the financial supporters to support a facility only if Huggins was coach. What it is, though, is a major chip for WVU basketball, both men’s and women’s.

Kudos, too, to the Daily Athenaeum, which has been a punchline here before, but scooped everyone today.
