It does not look like the McFarlane Toys Walking Dead building sets will continue, but we won’t know for sure until this weekend. Greenoight Toys has a 1/18th scale Ford Truck based on the show in the works, and is bound to have more TWD goodness in the pipeline.
Rick and Morty
We do know that Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty is hitting the toy world big this year and that includes news McFarlane Toys will be producing construction sets based on this series, plus Funko will release a full line of action figures, including standard 5″ figures, Pop Vinyls, plush and Mystery Minis.
The Rick and Morty Mystery Minis blind bag collection (seen right) includes all of your favorite characters from the popular series on Adult Swim. You can collect all 12 of the highly stylized characters for the ultimate mini Rick and Morty collection. These 2 1/2″ tall vinyl figures feature a cute, friendly, and super-deformed style that fits in well with Funko’s other Mystery Minis.
All of your favorite characters are present and accounted for as portable figures, and the sets themselves are built with plastic pieces that are compatible with other McFarlane brand lines. So if you want to have the kids from South Park cross over with Rick and Morty, Five Nights at Freddy’s or The Walking Dead, go nuts. The South Park Construction Sets from McFarlane Toys will be available in August 2017. Prices ranges from $7.99 to $34.99.
