More Flood Benefits

Saturday at 7 PM at the Pinch Reunion in Pinch, an evening of music will be presented to help relieve some of the agony suffered during and after the flood. Donations will be accepted (Cash, Cleaning Supplies, and Toiletries needed). There will be free music and free food (Hot Dogs, Chips, and Water). The organizers tell us, “If you can donate, please come out and help. If you are hungry, come out and eat. If you just need a break, come out and be entertained.”

On July 9 and 10, at the South Charleston First Church of the Nazarene, CharCon will hold a special event to raise money for gamers affected by the flooding.
From the event page: “Gamers helping gamers! Join us for this game day where we will play lots of games & hopefully raise enough funds to help those from our community impacted by the recent flooding. We will accept donations, have concessions, prizes, an auction and who knows what else. If you know of someone who is part of our gamer community that was impacted by the flooding, please private message us with details.”

Saturday July 9 at 9 PM, Grumpy’s Waterfront will present a special benefit show. The Mikele Buck Band along with The Needful Things will be hosting a Benefit concert to raise money for the Flood victims along the Elk River. All proceeds from the door( $10) going to LERMA (Lower Elk River Ministerial association) for the familys in need.
