Ryan Kennedy on The RFC MINI SHOW

Ryan 02This week The RFC MINI SHOW brings you a performance by guitar master, Ryan Kennedy, recorded live at Third Eye Cabaret last August. Kennedy performs the theme from the movie “Black Orpheus” by Louis Bonfi, and two pieces by Antonio Lauro, “Tatiana” and “Natalia.”

In addition to his solo work, Ryan also plays with the Bob Thompson Unit (Thompson will be inducted in the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame this weekend), The Hepcats, Terra Firma Ensemble, John Inghram’s Slugfest and The Mountain Stage Band. He’s also in demand as a guest on performances and recordings by other artists. Watch the show and you’ll see why, although this is an acoustic guitar set, Ryan can also shred a bit on the electric guitar.

As busy as he is, it’s surprising that Ryan doesn’t have a website so that we can keep up with him. However, he’s so busy that keeping the website updated would be a full-time job. I’m not sure when his next gig is, but I’m pretty sure that the Mountain Stage Band will be the house band for The West Virginia Music Hall of Fame this Saturday. You can read all about it HERE.
