One of the most exciting aspects of the “Call of Duty” franchise returning to its WWII roots is, for me, the history associated with the setting. My late grandfather survived the Battle of the Bulge and while he rarely discussed what he saw or experienced during the war, the knowledge that he served instilled within me a thirst for knowledge about World War II in general and that battle in particular.

“Call of Duty: WWII” launches Nov. 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
