Plugged In

One of the most exciting aspects of the “Call of Duty” franchise returning to its WWII roots is, for me, the history associated with the setting. My late grandfather survived the Battle of the Bulge and while he rarely discussed what he saw or experienced during the war, the knowledge that he served instilled within me a thirst for knowledge about World War II in general and that battle in particular.

If the video above is any indication, Activision and the developers at Sledgehammer Games appear to share that same passion. Check it out to see the steps the developers took to ensure that the game pays a fitting tribute to the men and women who gave their lives in the defense of freedom.

“Call of Duty: WWII” launches Nov. 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
