‘Dead Space’ invading Wii

EA struck gold in 2008 with the creepy third-person shooter “Dead Space” for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Now the publisher is bringing its sci-fi survival horror hit to the Wii.

During the company’s third-quarter conference call this week, EA CEO John Riccitiello announced not only “Dead Space” for the Wii, but sequels for “Battlefield: Bad Company” and “Mass Effect.” The next Bioware-developed RPG will be a mulit-platform release this time around, after the original was an Xbox 360 exclusive.

Not all news from EA was good — Riccitiello also announced delays for “The Sims 3,” “Godfather II” and “Dragon Age: Origins.” All of those titles are now expected to arrive sometime in the next fiscal year.
