Plugged In

If you’re a regular visitor to this little corner of the Interwebs, you’ve probably noticed a lack of updates lately. Well, I’m here to say it’s not my fault. I’ve been buried under an avalanche of new games that, for some reason, have all been released during the last month-and-a-half.

I’ve never understood why publishers wait until now to release their AAA products. OK, I understand that there’s more money to be made at this time of year, what with the holiday shopping season and all. But I’ve always been a believer that if a game is really good, it will sell just as well in March as it does in November.

And what about oversaturating the market? With so many great games being released at the same time, it can be hard to gamers to afford all of the titles they’d like to have. As a consumer, I know that I’m more likely to pick up a game here or there as opposed to picking up three or four at once.

Anyway, I digress…

In the past few days, I’ve posted reviews of “LittleBigPlanet,” “MotorStorm: Pacific Rift,” “Fallout 3” and “Blitz: The League II.” I have reviews of “Resistance 2,” “Guitar Hero: World Tour,” “Smackdown vs. Raw 2009,” “Call of Duty: World at War” and others in the works.

As always, check out the Video Games section at wvgazette.com for the latest updates.
