Current weight: 200 pounds (I feel like I might have lost more, but have been living off $.99 a pound spiral ham from my grocery store for the last week. I think there might be a significant drop coming once I stop with all the salt).
Starting weight: 253 pounds.
Current goal weight: 170-ish pounds.
Weight medical professionals believe I should be: 144 (or the approximate weight of all the cheese at Kroger’s cheese island –at least, the stuff I like)
Blood pressure: 111/76 (no drugs for about 12 days, except for some really tasty gummy multi-vitamins)
Number of times different people have spoken to me about my weight-loss and/or doing CrossFit in the last week: 12.
Number of those people who said they couldn’t change their diet or exercise more: 4.
Caffeine: Some kind of donut shop swill. I don’t like it, but I didn’t pay for it, so I can shut my donut hole.
Cans of diet soda consumed this week: A shocking amount, actually. It’s like I’m bathing in the stuff. Maybe, I should run a line to the house.
Notable fitness accomplishments: I did six, straight pull-ups three times in a row and can now hold a plank for longer than a minute. Both are huge improvements.
Before Christmas, I could do maybe three or four pull-ups, once and then do two or three pull-ups –and planks? Forget about it. If I could hold a plank longer than half a minute I was doing well.
