Try It Tuesday: Dermelect’s Summer Collection

I had never heard of Dermelect before. I’m typically an Essie or Revlon nail polish girl but was sent the Dermelect Cosmeceuticals’ Spring/Summer 2017 “ME” Romantic Renaissance Collection at work to try out.

The six shade collection includes three warm and three cool hues. Three are more pastel and three are bold so you get a good mix of color options.

The colors are Faire Maiden (Desert Sage),  Coat D’Amour (Raspberry Rose), Coquette (Poppy Red), Enlighten Me (Apricot Nude), Right as Reign (Dusty Blue) and  Mani-Festo (Vintage Teal).

Since I love reds, pinks and nudes for nails typically, Coat D’Amour, Coquette and Enlighten Me were the colors I was drawn to.

The polishes are long-lasting, the colors are bold and the polish itself is very shiny. The key ingredient their experts use is keratin protein peptide-hydrolyzed keratin extracted from New Zealand sheep’s wool. This helps strengthen the nails.

The collection is available online from Dermelect and Ulta. The set retails for $39 or you can buy them individually for $14.

Thank you Dermelect for providing the nail polishes to us!

  1. Mani-Festo (vintage teal) is my favorite nail polish from this collection. It goes great with Right as Reign (dusty blue). I used teal polish as a base and draw little roses with dusty blue. It was very nice design until I ruined it with glitters 🙁 Better luck next time.
