Sephora gift card giveaway

We’ve got a $20-Sephora gift card up for grabs for our Fashionably Awkward readers.

All you have to do is comment on this post below with an idea, product or trend you’d like to see us try in the future.

It’s that easy! We want your suggestions to find new (and fun!) things to try. Don’t hold back, either. It can be as creative or daunting as you want it to be. We’re up for (almost) anything.

Comment below and we’ll pick a winner at random at the end of the month. The deadline to enter is June 30 at 11:59 p.m. (EST). We’ll pick a winner in the beginning of July.

Also, a special shoutout to The Charleston Gazette-Mail for providing the prize!

Good luck and may the odds ever be in your favor!

  1. There are so many videos from those who sell make up doing a whole look on videos and post on social media. They have practice and sell it so they make it look so easy, but the average Jane (like me) still feels intimidated. Would love if you could find someone well versed in selling Younique or a whole makeup line similar to, have them instruct but have you to try to apply it yourselves!

  2. I’d like to see you all try a drugstore brand haul with hits and misses to inform all of us what’s the best bang for our buck locally!

  3. How well are clothes made at lower end stores versus higher end stores locally. Is one really better than the other?

  4. I think you should try to find a good sunscreen for summer that keeps your face covered, but feels light and not oily. Try out all the sunscreens, and maybe try some DIY stuff too.

I’m also curious about natural products from deodorant to shampoo. How can you find the truly natural stuff or should you just make it at home, anyway?

  5. Make up or hair dos for a busy person to have done quickly in the morning, but still look decent. Make up and hair dos that anyone can do, not only the most practiced.

  6. A few different under 10 minute make up looks that are perfect for days when you’re on the go! I think a funny idea for a video would be where people do their own makeup but can’t look at a mirror until they are finished

  7. Skincare is the foundation. Properly maintaining your skin reduces required amount of makeup and provides the proper base for makeup application. I would like to read about masques and peels. Thank you!

  8. Put an entire outfit together from head-to-toe with only purchasing items from local thrift stores/Goodwill. Happy shopping!

  9. The latest trend is being make-up free and looking more grunge, unkempt and natural. I suggest you try not showering or wearing makeup for an entire week. Highlight skincare products that help soak up oils and overnight face crust, keep your skin hydrated, dry shampoos, etc?

  10. I think you guys should go to places people wouldn’t assume that they could find fashionable items and put together cute outfits, like Walmart, Gabes, Goodwill, etc.
