Doing player interviews at Marshall, I made one quick realization: A whole bunch of the starting Herd offense is different from what played in last year’s game. Darius Marshall, Cody Slate and Lee Smith are back, but the rest of the crew is very different.

That could be a good thing, though. As you will recall, Marshall’s offense was putrid, for the most part, in the 27-3 loss.

The receiving corps will be completely new, unless Courtney Edmonson returns. While considering that, that got me curious about Bryant Milligan. What’s he up to after leaving MU?

Well’s he’s playing at Tennessee-Martin and has 10 catches for 89 yards in six games, and is still looking for his first collegiate touchdown. He has two catches in the last three weeks.

At Fairmont State, Josh Evans is starting but his team is 1-6 and has been outscored 110-23 over the last three weeks. Ouch!
